It's simple. On this site is (apparently homemade) counter. It records your statistics, including with a browser in here. Well, after you determine the browser (guess curve) crashes with an error. The second time, thanks to cookies, the mechanism of parsing the "what browser" is not enabled and the site opens.
Roughly, the error is in the file /includes/hits.php in rows after the 17th
\rWarning: Division by zero in /home/h13u1/public_html/includes/hits.php on line 16
\r
If this is your website, then check the initialization of variables is likely variable associated with the option of entering through IE is not initialized, then there is a division on it, that is division by zero which creates an error already.

Can add-ins be the problem? to test run the browser without them from the start menu — Run — iexplore -extoff.
If no add-ons problem does not occur, run the browser in regular mode and disable add-ins in tools -> Manage add-ins one at a time, restarting IE after each disable.
\r
If the problem is not in the add-ins, try to reset the browser settings.
