A question to those who enjoyed/enjoys the eReader.
How is this even comfortable/uncomfortable, what are the pros/cons? What the eReader or paper?

In my experience it is more convenient for the reader of fiction than a paper book. Large letters, footnotes and dictionary right under the word without the need of paging, save notes, from pieces of text, bookmarks. From a technical literature in pdf or djvu 6 inches, very sad. Paper book you can quickly flick through when searching for the right place already read the book, if you're looking for something like black and white pictures under the table at the bottom right of the page. In the e-book it is harder.

I bought a Kindle 3, reading art literature more than comfortable. With regard to the technical literature, to read it not so comfortable, but you can still prilovchitsya. Plus to email. the book has all sorts of buns like a dictionary.

As the owner of the ONYX BOOK 60 can say that it is easier for many reasons. Firstly, it is easier and it is easier to turn the pages. Fonts can be changed at any time, page rendering is always the same, the ability to change the orientation of the text adds much convenience when reading lying down. The ability to carry your entire library makes you a fantastic mobile( though zadolbali dialogues in the style of: — Oh, it's like Arpad? No, it's like "War and peace").
But the main good of these toys is that 10-15 minutes after you get the title you are interested in works, you can read it on your ebuke. Paper books have to look for, to order, to wait and to pay dearly for them. After reading, they collect dust, are involved in the construction mess and someone always takes forever for a day or two. So Ibuki contribute not only to progress but also save trees.

PS: At the time of paying 13k for an e-book I strongly regretted the purchase, whether it is now a choice I would have added money and took the phone with a large screen, like the HTC HD2 or Galaxy S. It is much more mobile. What specifically about the reading of the paper already hear the call flop-floppy drives and ISA cards.

Keenly felt the need of an electronic reader when he wanted to take with the work of Faulkner, but the house was only one edition — a thick book, weighing well does not less kilos. To run around town a lot, and carrying around all this wealth with you not smiling... Faulkner left to wait at home, until better times))). => Books weigh a lot! For devushek well, very important. And the laptop will not work here, too, weighs a kilo, anyway.

And paper books are expensive. 200-300 PE per 1 volume of thoughts and feelings. In the year 3-7 thousand PE. the average citizen consumed.

Although how nice to poshelestet live pages. To smell it, to get used to the binding and know what page to open in what mood.

If you love to read at night, you need a reader with highlight and here, comparing the prices after the delivery of a well-known manufacturer — no competition. Wife with this "reader" does not leave.

Personally, I use the reader exclusively for fantasy/detectives/other frivolous literature — it is convenient that it is not necessary to buy/print and then stored, simply erase the file and fill the following. Thus far in the road with him, I do not take it, and take the Nokia N810 because it can not only read, but also to use an Internet (and it easier). Well, the professional books I read with the laptop, because all the time we need to take notes and to record emerging ideas.

Frankly, enough of the phone.
Independence from illumination — adaptive brightness.
Nexus one on a big enough screen.
The entire library is always with you.
For books not to go anywhere — on the web you can find something in bookstores. not anymore.
The phone is always in my pocket, and the book no.
And all this together with podcasts, music and Internet.
