Good day!
He tried to pour ubuntu-10.10-netbook-i386.iso on the usb flash drive using
1) ultraIso
2) universal USB installer
3). that is, in the image to install to usb

all leads to one and the same when trying to start install Ubuntu on this drive on a Asus eeepc 900 — lit black screen and blinking "_"

Somebody faced? What is the solution?

In the end installed.
First 10.04, as it is loaded from the flash drive, and it made the installation USB stick for 10.10
It worked.

There is no text "SYSLINUX 3.82 2009-06-09 EBIOS..."?

With 10.10 this is a known issue, I just failed to put the flash drive with any netbook, no desktop version.
