Hello.

I would like to find a small, simple Tulsa to design software. In General, the design even loudly. It would be easy to find a replacement for eternal and reliable, but outdated tools: paper A4 with pen. But to no frills. No standards, UML and other don't. Or at least, not to complicate the work. Just painted about a scheme of work, saved, and everything is ready. Not to be soared with a choice of suitable figures for the scheme, etc. For myself, well a maximum of 2-3 colleagues who will understand you.

Worked with Enterprise Architect(like correctly wrote) — just a corporate monster. Tried the dia — is not it. In block diagrams to draw is not desirable, the interface kills clumsiness. Heard about visio, but have not tried.

What would you recommend? Who than uses?

I also have recently got such question. So I bought a Board on the wall and the 3 colored marker. Very cool stuff! Even allows you to draw figures of any shape, not falling, not eating resources and generally works without a computer.

Suggest still try Visio: this is a simple Tulsa — to sketch standard controls and icons — and ready; a good thing.

Try Visual Paradigm for UMLmay seem too fancy, but the diagrams in it to draw one fun (IMHO — the most convenient drawing tool of those that tried).

Another view in the direction of ConceptDraw (essentially the same Visio).

For prototyping user interfaces, Microsoft now offers Sketch Flow (part of a package of Expression Blend). Read more here: habrahabr.ru/blogs/silverlight/76263
