On many sites, including on Habrahabr, have notifications about new events, and the only way to receive notifications by e — mail.

The problem is that the main Inbox do not want to clutter a bunch of notifications, the Gmail interface is not the most convenient format for such a letter I would like to see all notifications in one tape: "from" / "subject" / "message text", something similar to the web interface of Twitter.

For notifications are going to have a separate Inbox.

Maybe there are options broadcast in RSS, Jabber, some interfaces for mail that will allow you to conveniently read the tape notifications? Write your solution to the problem.

Not quite a suitable option, but Google Talk when you receive mail on the box alerts the pop-up alert. Try.

currently, leading companies are working on the solution to your question. As far as I know, Yandex and Hotmail already sorted notifications from services and show them as something special. Experiment with these two. I think Google is also something will come up soon.
