Hi! Friend asked to pick a computer for my son in 9th grade.
This is his first computer.

Need average laptop — not heavy and not light, reliable (Asus?), with average screen size.

Somebody tell me something?

Also would appreciate it if you gave a discount card or a discount in any store in St. Petersburg.

Do not take HP. Heat up much, buggy video (also depends on the build), I had one constantly problems with it (price category 35K+).
ASUS everything, solid, almost indestructible.

I would advise the intel i5 processor + 4 Gb RAM + integrated video card DEFINITELY Windows 7. Not under any pretext do not take c Vista.

For a child all the same take, and not in the office to print ;)
If the configuration is "nambucca", then the peers will crush you, because the "not subject" to be.

And yet, you really need a laptop? The price is higher, the characteristics below.

Good stone, 3гига of RAM and all this in an enclosure the size of an A4 sheet. A little more than your budget, but the laptop is worth it
