imageGood afternoon.

I love to read books. Basically this is a tutorial on programming. I usually buy the printed edition. But lately, I often need books that are simply not available in printed form (I mean in Russia). Slowly begin to change to e-books (read them on the ipad).

I really appreciate when the book is in good quality. Those are not otskanirovanno and in djvu format. In a normal PDF (sometimes better EPUB) laid out specifically for e-readers. And, of course, willing to pay for it. But here's the thing: I can't find a resource where you can buy books.

It's funny that in the Runet on request "download <book title>" — google gives a ton of references to the above mentioned djvu scans. But for the query " Buy <book title> EPUB/PDF" — beggar.

Asking for your help.
Tell me where you are buying books for their readers? Not fiction, but a technical on the IT part and in good quality. Well, it is desirable that there was also a selection of niche books (something more serious "I am writing a site in php+mysql").

Russian books I did not advise, except how to hammer on them to search and to learn English.
English: www.safaribooksonline.com/ (access by subscription), oreilly.com/ and I use www.wowebook.com (I then shake my book on the ball, but everywhere there is a link to purchase the book at Amazon for those who want)

I do technical books I prefer to read on paper or the big screen so far (not yet acquired the reader more than Kindle 5) thought about this question, but I saw at least books.ru (no ads) available electronic versions of books.
Still have Amazon and other stores where books are in electronic form.

oreilly.com — large selection of books, often all sorts of promotions-discounts, decent quality files (in several formats).

I agree with those who say that books programming read better in English. But, unfortunately, my English level does not allow me to read complex literature. I teach him, but it's not as fast.
For example, the LYSE I read in the original without any problems. But something in C++ I most likely will not master English. Because Russian and half do not understand, we have to grasp and reflect and if it still puffed up to translate — I don't understand.
Therefore, looking to the Russian.

Many excellent books, including from the "... in Action". The opportunity to read books before going to print program MEAP — Manning Early Access Program.
One of the latest published books, for example, Single Page Web Applications.
All books are available in PDF, ePub, and Kindle.

I read with a 7" tablet, not a reader. Buy on oreilly.com, amazon.com or pragprog.com.

In the last year prefer to buy books here.
Just when using Google want to download free - often come across all sorts of "enter SMS".
And there is clear and understandable.

By the way, I myself have already accumulated on discount: tyts.
