After a system error (Ubuntu) does not see the memory card, I see no utility, nor Windows, nor LInux, (what a mistake did not see, because of the error followed the fall of the system).
created a theme http://forum.ubuntu.ru/index.php?topic=233545.0 but never found a solution - the utility does not see the flash drive transcend JetFlash 700.
How to restore it?

P. S. it is not important.

downloading a program to determine the PID&VID. According to this then on the same site find the files to reflash the controller(or something there ) in the USB flash drive.

A sense to Potter, if the price of this stick is about 13$?

A little explain your answer. Cheap flash drives in advance such are unreliable, so when buying them you have to be prepared for the fact that sooner or later they will break.
While more expensive, these problems arise much less frequently and they have a guarantee.

The most interesting thing that helped me banal Gparted (though I use Kubuntu)(BUT IN ANY CASE NOT to USE SUBOTOVSKY PARTISAN-EDITOR, OR whatever IT is CALLED, NAMELY GPARTED!!!)- just recreate the partition and formatted. After that works fine.
By the way, also Transcend.

PS
Oh, sorry!
did not understand what it even is not seen in lsusb... Then my advice will not work... :(
Once again I apologize!
