I like C#. Really cool language. Dislike of Microsoft is not experiencing use Windows, so statements like: "Windows masdi, learn Java" will not be taken into account.
So, while what I wrote in console only. It's time to choose a direction. And I stalled. I plan to do freelancing, as I live in a small town studios no no, do not plan to move. Except in the same small town :) udalenku of janikow not taken, as far as I know. And even with no experience. Remains freelance.
Those who have experience of freelancing in C#, tell me where to dig and in which direction to go. I would be grateful. Google tells basically posts two years ago, maybe something has changed?

Basically the most profitable now (not only dotnet in General) is a web and mobile applications. In Toptal-e we have for example often there is a need for Xamarin and Unity

If you have life - work experience. Take any draft for any money (though small). Try to give 100%, learn everything that will snag the eye. Instead of games / TV etc. - read articles, books. There are all sorts of resources with instructional video materials. Learn now easy and cheap.

Only web development! Desktop applications rarely ordered, the server even less.
And need to find a Studio that does projects on ASP.NET. Zadruzhitsya with her, she in case of load throw brainteasers. Is almost remote work. If you can work for several studios.

Alternatively, can try to participate in the project github.com( that would be something in the summary to show)
And then see here.( this is not a freelance, and is. The essence does not change, but you can pick up something in c#)

Russian frilans stock exchanges do not count, there are serious projects in C# are very rarely caught, mostly small things of type of laboratory and course works. They can work out, in parallel, studying or Asp.Net MVC for Web or WPF for mobile development. Then you can safely go on odesk and other foreign stock exchanges, where orders under C# quite a lot.

I rarely saw Finansovye task under c#, but a few still did, for example multi-threaded parsers and a local database with sqlite and lucene.net. But in General I think. for freelance C# is not very promising direction.
