Support, a good webcam, the identified problems in Ubuntu 10.10, if it is disabled, and then re-connect the MIC before the reboot not working. Although not rule out that this is a problem specifically with my system.

I liked the camera chicony panda. Work with the native uvc driver with support for larger resolutions.
Not sure how it works with other cameras, but I more hours the store was sad and looked at the fact that almost all of them, or required the driver to interpolate, or did not have on the box no information about the real performance characteristics.

My Chicony Panda DC-7120 honestly gives 1280x1024, but is the model even with 1600x1200.
In General, it supports 160x120, 176x144, 320x240, 352x288, 640x480, 1280x1024.
Except that the body I do not like is the mount is not very good.
\rExample photos.
Well, fps is highly dependent on the lighting, this photo was taken with a bad video and when it was about 5-7 fps. When good promises up to 15 to give.
