During a summer vacation read Tanenbaum e-book. The book is divided into 6 files, so I could only read the first one. Loved the writing style: everything is clear and detailed. After each Chapter there are a couple of tasks to find out what read learned, and what is not.
The author advised the grandfather, he was reading his book "computer Architecture".

Kos_GNOM right: tomorrow pass the exam per year (today), prepared for SEMA for both sources. Have Oliferov there are sometimes inaccuracies and errors are minor, but many of the themes described better (in my opinion). Many of the things they described frankly weak (TCP for example), where I rescued Tannenbaum. So buy both, it will be a good investment.
