Basic requirement:

To be able to transmit the coordinates to a remote server

I want to write a web interface using Ya Card to track the position of the Navigator.

If there is no ready-made solutions, I will be glad to obtain information on a self-made device.

GPS navigation as standalone devices do not support sending coordinates to the remote service. Even the last travel type model Garmin Oregon 550 only allow you to transmit the coordinates over the wireless from device to device, Pori there is support transfer to any other device.

IMHO to unite these different tasks require a device that determines the coordinates (GPS-tracker, GPS-dongle — in short, something that works like a GPS and is connected to the laptop via USB or PDA via besprovodnoy) + a laptop or PDA to process the information and put it in the net.
\r
Further — just automate the process, a bunch of options in the net quite a lot of them posted.
