I think every photographer lover there comes a time when he asked a similar question. Where to store tens and hundreds of gigabytes of captured digital images?

Selected photos are printed, it's understandable. To remove the rest — sorry, they need to be stored somewhere. On the HDD the space is not elastic, and sooner or later ends.

Stored on two internal hard drives, yet for 3 years active, but selective photography gained 70 GB in RAW, the choice is not critical, as I periodically about thoroughly clean filopovic from porn garbage. Over time I intend to get a NAS, about 2 TB in RAID-1 on screws of Hitachi — while they are in my reliability rating in the lead unconditionally.

Stored in iPhoto is very convenient for viewing. iPhoto all photos sinhroniziruete on Flickr — very cool and handy thing! No restrictions and in a year something like 20 bucks.
In case the computer goes Tits up, you can download the original images and videos arranged by albums.
