For many, Dropbox is simply file storage with easy access, but not limited to ways of applying it.

For example, I use Dropbox
  • to sync FF bookmarks at work and home computer
  • keep it Portable KeePass
  • keep a few small projects that are in development, so I can easily return to their refinement from virtually anywhere and also have their latest version on the test server
Share you interesting examples.

Configs for all IDE. A very useful thing, especially at uni, where everything is reset to default after a reboot. Sat down, downloaded the config, fed and IDE just like home, poradil a couple, turned off the computer, everything faded into default by itself)

Maybe someone would be interested in such an opinion. Tried several times to teach myself, but in the end carry a laptop everywhere. Important work documents stored in Google Docs, and the rest if you get lost — no problem.

Very convenient to synchronize different business documents/scripts and more, if you work not alone, but with someone in the crew... always see all the updates + the people you work with is also aware of the events happening :)

Small projects and experiments with html & js along with a git repository. I know that it has a github, but I keep forgetting to push back the latest copy to continue in another place where he finished.
