A tool for communicating, preserving history

Need a tool for easy communication in our team of three.
Now use gtalk, but easily something to lose, but she resets in the mail. In addition, gtalk inconvenient to enter the chat from your browser.

Requirements:

1. The possibility of using the browser.
2. Possibility of use of a desktop client (apparently, according to the jabber Protocol).
3. Easy viewing history in the browser.
4. Optional: allocation of the discussions concerned different topics. Under the theme means a request to the bug tracker.

Are there any ready solutions to deploy such a system?

Gtalk works fine from almost any jabber client. Paragraph 3 and 4 you will help the filters in gmail. What's wrong?

Oh yeah. talkgadget.google.com/talkgadget/popout — to help you. It's to "inconvenient to log in from the browser".

From 37signals Campfire Chat, the decision is not free, but the requirements of free I have not seen.
