The choice of laptop for your life and work?

Hello, dear colleagues.

I want to ask for your advice. The fact that the day before yesterday (as a gift to the birthday, apparently) my prematurely dead beloved Dell Latitude D620. Without a tool to remain worthless, so I ask your help in selecting a replacement for him.

The laptop will be used for home and leisure (Internet, movies, music, sometimes recording with a good external card) and for work (C++ programmer, and therefore need a lot of power, low-voltage processors are swept aside at once). As the OS will stand dualbut of Windows 7 (Home Premium or better, it would be better to kit) and GNU/Linux (most likely Kubuntu, and work).

Requirements — Core i3/i5/i7, dual core. Memory of 4 gigabytes. Discrete graphics is in principle not necessary (Aero and Compiz/KWin and integrated Intel will work), but not hurt. The display size of 13-14 inches, need a good resolution (1366x768 I is clearly not enough, it's better to be 1440x900 or 1600x900). I want a relatively capacious battery (that worked for 1.5-2 hours). The hard drive is not fundamental (from a deceased Dell was left bought a year ago a WD Scorpio Blue), a DVD drive is not absolutely necessary. Yes, unfortunately, I have back problems, so the weight is limited to a 2.4-2.5 Kg on top.

Here and ask your help. I really liked the HP Envy 14 (especially after the review on Engadget), but HP has discontinued the version with normal display, there is only WXGA.

Budget you can limit, say, 50 thousand rubles, but for a particularly good option willing to overpay a little.

Sorry for such a long Intro and thanks in advance for your help.

View the previous generation of Sony vaio Z, there are of course Core 2 Duo is, but the performance satisfactory, 1.4 Kg, works for a long time, the display 1600*900, at a price to fit. Or a new line of Z, but there prices are closer to 80-100, but i7 and SSD and FullHD in the same 1.4 Kg will receive.

About the reliability of said above — my laptop fell on the ice with the meter in the small bag 3 times, 5mm crack on the bottom (fallen angle) and a small Slatina on metal (falling edge), works like a clock.

I would suggest the Lenovo THINKPAD T510 or of the series.
itself looked narrowly at this model but my budget was more limited, so I made the choice to ASUS K42JK.
But my camera resolution is still low, and there are all sorts of nuances with ATI under the line.
In General, for myself concluded that if the budget would have been higher I would take the Lenovo, but ASUS not disappointed.

I got myself a Sony Vaio VPCF13S1R/B... very happy! The developer is a good solution matrix is very important. And he's powerful, well, it's a little big (16"), but it doesn't bother me :)

Too lazy to repost the answer already, so take a look here. Just like the question has been recently.
