There is a domain for a website startup. In cards I would like to write a beautiful mail address like name@my_domain. I would also like to conveniently work with the mail through the Opera, sometimes through a simple web interface (well, there is a cafe or sometimes on your phone). Can anyone write an article on the implementation of this (server on linux). By the way, is it possible to use one domain for two servers? For example, on one server the startup (high load), on the other (much weaker) all sorts of chips — mailer, jabber, svn.

Yes I would not want to Google/Yandex. You never know who will be there to read my mail.

Domain can be used without problems on different servers. In the records domain, you specify a list of mail servers, the addresses of which may not coincide with the addresses of the web servers.
