Item 2: Open Putty or telnet using 192.168.1.* yours router IP, and write the following commands...

mkdir /mnt/Hitachi_120/opt # is my label USB HDD (ext2)


When I perform this command I get this fail:


mkdir: can't create directory '/mnt/elements/opt': No such file or directory

root@RT-30469a4af882:/tmp/home/root#


Help windowstime. Can primantis me to the wrong place?

Probably /mnt/elements present. you can either first create the /mnt/elements:
mkdir /mnt/elements
or in your command to use the-p switch that creates all parent directories for the target.

Can be no /mnt/elements
