I highly recommend the Stanford lectures on iPhone development: video and slides in iTunes U, as well as the source code and assignments on the website for this course.

Lectures for Stanford is a really good source. But they must be supplemented by additional sources of information, for example, in Russian there is a good book — "the iPhone SDK. Application development. +An introductory course on Objective-C". Publishing house "BHV-Petersburg", 2010.
And of course, Google help, as not all questions in the book and lectures have the answers.

If you have experience in C/C++, you have enough documentation in the Apple DevCenter to quickly to understand. The documentation from Apple is just great, plus educational video screencasts in iTunes U. you can Literally sit and stupidly to start writing an application dealing in the course of writing applications in all aspects of development.

Stuck on assignment in the book for 3 days I think how to do it. Since I'm a beginner in programming, little work with the documentation, and don't really know what to look for. Is there any volunteers who could advise or suggest? The task is simple, there is an array of strings, you need to find and output all strings that contain a substring. Let me Asya in PM or Skype, I would be very grateful.
