Offline analog of Dropbox

Really like the service but because of limited Internet, its use is very limited.

Can someone tell me an analogue that does not require the Internet and works on a "set it and forget it"?
Main sphere of use: sync between desktop and laptops.

Dropbox is able to work on a local network. Ie if all your computers are in one LAN files on the Internet chase will not. The Internet is necessary in this case for authorisation.
