A VPS, it is Debian 5 Lenny. There is ISPmanager Lite and actually she set. The problem is, that we need to completely abandon Apache2 to completely switch to Nginx with the ability to manage directly from the ISP (restart nginx, add domains to its folder, etc.). I am suffering for a week, tried various manuals including with Habra.

Habrovany, you're the only one I can suggest a solution. Many thanks in advance for any tip.

Made himself such. From Apache refuse to fail because, as mentioned above, it works ispmanager, but it is already possible to prune resources.
\r
The list of hosts to isp takes from opachevskogo config, so the settings ISP a, we specify a different config. I copied the real (apache2.isp.conf) and it pointed to /usr/local/ispmgr/etc/ispmgr.conf.
\r
Now Apache doesn't bother us. But it may happen that requires tricky tuning for hosts with nginx. As far as I know, the template in the ISP e not so easy to change. Then you need to dig the documentation on the theme of the event. In my case I hung a few hooks on certain actions with the hosts and myself form the nginx configs. Do a file /usr/local/ispmgr/etc/ispmgr_mod_vhosts.xml:
\r
\r
\r<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>\r\r\rwwwdomain.edit\r\r\r

In the folder /usr/local/ispmgr/addon put vhosts_edit. On what to write, your business, at least for php.

About updating nginx:
1. Pump source latest
2. Pump ishodniki pcre (8.12 seems to last)
3. See build parameters in the current version of nginx -V
4. And then in the folder with the nginx source:
\r
./configure... a lot of everything that's happened... --with-pcre=<the way to sorrow pcre>
make
make install

In the left menu division server Configuration, the point of Opportunity, in the list looking for "nginx [engine x] is an HTTP and a proxy server" right on top of the button with the disk (Install), wait =)

Unfortunately with this I can not help, do not understand.
But here's what I found:
1. habrahabr.ru/blogs/sysadm/113101/#comment_3629214
2. sysoev.ru/nginx/nginx-0.9.4.tar.gz
3. server-help.ru/?p=114
\r
I think that you can do like this:
Include nginx in ISPmanager Lite, make a new version, put it, the control remains with nginx, but you have a new version.
It's just a theory, I don't know how to install nginx, I can only wish you good luck =)

Completely abandon Apache does not work, because you need it for work ISPManager. Apache+nginx, you can set up easily, but it is not clear, as to leave only the last (if only to tweak the configs manually). Try to write in support of ISPManager should help.
