There are nedobukh ASUS eeePC 701. Is it gnosca Ubuntu from Canonical. There is an item in a menu completion: Suspend.

Everything seems perfect, right? But not quite. After the release of suspend typically, you receive an alert of the type "Hard disk is failing" (or something like that), than everything works fine, and in any other cases, this notification does not appear. Plus, sometimes (about 50/50) falls off Wi-Fi. Can't just connect to the network to which normally connected at the time (the network works 100%).

Actually a question: it somehow can be cured, or the only way is never to use suspendm?

Turn off the network, download revolt "clean", put to sleep, Wake me up.
If you Wake up — take a look in Additional Drivers, if there is no /var/log/dmesg on a review community.
Option two to turn on the sound, optionally will mount via sshfs disk(even his tail) — put to sleep.
Option three — switch to the proposed updates. Update.
Option four — upgrade to latest stable kernel from kernel:PPA. In General, above the 36 kernel.
And lastly — admit it — you have this problem always, or it came later( they came with the update ), try the model of your laptop via Launchpad punch
\rIf some words you do not understand — Google it, you'll need to fix

I have a netbook sony vaio, stood 9.10 Netbook remix, so it was a lot of bugs related to suspend and power connection.
As updates the problem disappeared.

Suspend and hibernate is the Achilles heel of ubuntu. Maybe I have a strange circle of acquaintances, but I only saw 1 time that they worked. It is very angry.
