I want to make a website with users who are doing something that is stored in the database (they have accounts or their similarity), what they change/add hits to the database and displayed on the page without page refreshes. You can play as a Palace guard.

Actually for learning, I want to try to do something. I think after this experience, I will be able to better understand "adult" decisions on this subject, write to them, modules/plugins and create something with unique functionality. The latter is the main reason I abandon my usual smsok in the direction of "leaped".

I understand that textbooks of this kind in the net in bulk, but this is confusing — what can you advise a green newbie like me (a little worked with different cms from typo3 to wp, I know a little css+html)? It is desirable in Russian.

What would you recommend, and what books to him?

All books are 3 in 1 will be worse than 3 knick each on their subjects. I suggest to find 3 books: пхп5, мускул5 and GS and all three just to read, Yes, it will take more time, but it will be certain in the theme.

I agree with the taliban. I bought recently this book is 3 in one, but then needed to expand their knowledge and to buy books and read blogs. Still, if you dare, take this book by Robin Nixon.

MySQL is a very good book from Paul Dubois, for example www.ozon.ru/context/detail/id/3059177/

about js: try to read everything that is on javascript.ru (everything is more or less structured, though sketchy). And then read a series of articles on jQuery. Recently selected for the example is purely subjective;)
