If you have an external hard drive STAC1000100 Seagate at 1TB, when you turn on the computer the download stops when the check comes to the BIOS USB Mass Storage.

Mother Asus P5PL2. The BIOS update did not help. Tried disabling USB Legacy Support in the BIOS, check runs, but then the keyboard does not work to download the OS and you cannot select the downloadable system.

Win 7 and Ubuntu recognize the drive absolutely fine.

I do not want every time you connect/disconnect hard when you turn on the computer. Who can faced, prompt please?

I have come across. Helped create a new partition table and write to the hard disk all the data again.
