Recently began to notice that the phone immediately after switching on (the day after) consumes no more than 40% of RAM. After 400 hours I saw that the phone is less than 75% of the memory is not eating.

Do I need to periodically reboot the phone to clear the memory or not?

P. S. HTC Wildfire A3333, Android 2.1.

Not necessary.

Do not put the left software like any twicular, taskmanagers, etc. Especially carefully choose the software that requires root rights (if relevant for you). As for the rest, well android handles the memory by yourself. On the contrary, it would be strange if the memory isn't used. In the right system memory is always utilized to the maximum, not on the program, so an on-disk cache and buffers.
