Going to open a branch in Ukraine, in the form of an online store with your local office. And after a long search google.com.ua confused about which language is better to make a store. My inner mind says that in another country with its own language and it is necessary to do everything in that language, but as mentioned above the search engines are saying quite the opposite.

Please tell me which is better in terms of public opinion and search engines in General?
Successful shops in the country completely to the Ukrainian language?
If a large percentage of seekers in Ukrainian?

Probably the best bunch of Ukrainian-Russian with a choice of. Only big request to put the case of a person fluent in the language(or vocabulary) — increasingly I get on Ukrainian sites that are just a bunch of errors in words("power of shame").

A lot depends on what part of the country your company is planning to extend its activities. As much as it sounded politicized, the geographical factor plays an important role.

To the West Ukrainian should be present in any case. For Central Ukraine — both languages. East enough for Russian. At the same time, good manners and tolerance (not the market and not the frequency of queries in Ukrainian) suggests (and rightly so, because never know who and of what importance for development of the company will visit the site) that we need both languages are represented in equal proportions, and — most importantly — in equal quality. Make sure that the Ukrainian on the website was not Surzhikov and dialektos.

Say the net IMHO: those who are looking worried about price, payment options and delivery, as well as the quality of information and service. Language role-play.

You can, of course, to make a bilingual, but predominantly all in Russian, for example — rozetka.com.ua/ (one fairly large).
\r
In General, we can estimate the portals price.ua and m1.ua most are looking for products there. By the way, to search first by the Russian name of the product, and then on the Ukrainian — complete nonsense.
\r
So IMHO do not bother and do it in Russian. There are resources and desire — add Ukrainian version, but it's true, if you really want to be original ;)

You asked on the Russian site. The answer is obvious (and I support him).
Ask for the Ukrainian language to cover the entire range.

I, for one, appreciate the correctness of this information, its completeness and usability. Especially customizable filters. What language is not important, the main thing that was convenient and quality service on top. Recently bought the socket and fotos. Simply because, although there is a little more expensive, but the information is always current. In most other stores, especially if a rare commodity, you should always do a test call, the results of which often, it turns out that the product either is not present, or the price of it is quite different. These are not buying out of principle.

If you have the opportunity, time, etc., try to make the Ukrainian in Western Ukraine and in the Russian for East/Central. In this case, I think everyone will be pleased :) Position on IP.

Two years ago, Russian/Ukrainian language commercial site attendance was approximately 85/15 — 90/10%
