And now I sit here fill in your profile on Upwork, stopped at filling in the history of the works. Should I write where I worked but unofficially? It is somehow validated? Does this section do?

The more the profile is complete at the beginning the better. How you will check whether you worked there or not? If the work is related to the fact that you are going to do on apwork of course fill.
