Hello, there is a script running with huge number of records in the database. Under this project rented a VPS 4GB RAM.

The script is run from the admin area of WP and returns an error
E_ERROR Error in file �wp-db.php� at line 1889: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 80 bytes)


Tried to add in wp-config:
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M'); define('WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M');


The I is not changed ... Always Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes.

In php.ini memory_limit 1024M

Is apache+nginx

How to show WordPress that the memory has changed?

It was just in WordPress was in one of the PHP files, not in the config, was memory_limit, this file is very easy to find a search for files with mask *.php

If still relevant, in my experience there is not in woerdense the case, and in the server settings, maybe VP by default it takes the server setup.
