Why lost all the files and folders on the flash drive?

Hello!

The problem the following!

It was a flash drive with folders and files. The file system was ntfs Hooked up a flash drive on ubuntu to copy the iso image of windows. Failed. Then I tried using sudo cp

and all is lost. Left files Windows.

How to return prinou?? All files and folders need to be returned.

Anyone encountered such issues?
