Hello.

I have the meter readings for hot water. I have these readings recorded in the table. The question is: how can I build a chart based on the difference of meter readings for the previous period?

Example:
``Hot water (meter Readings) [+] [2018] [2019] [2020] [2021] [2022] [01] Jan 26,00 43,80 56,36 70,86 82,49 [02] February 28,00 44,80 57,04 71,93 83,76 [03] March 29,60 46,12 58,93 72,46 84,71 [04] April 32,10 47,06 59,69 and 73.81 86,30 [05] May of 33.00 48,20 60,57 74,83 87,45 [06] June 35,00 49,09 61,53 75,37 88,05 [07] July 37,00 50,06 62,51 76,34 89,31 [08] August 38,60 51,36 of 63.59 77,60 90,56 [09] September of 39.26 52,80 64,46 78,39 91,34 [10] October 40,86 53,90 65,37 79,60 92,76 [11] November is 42.12 54,33 68,90 80,40 93,48 [12] December 42.98 per 55,09 69,16 81,03 94,55``

As I imagine it.

Chart 5 lines responsible for your year.

Next, I need to not just take the data and read the previous value.

I.e. for the period [from January 2018 to February 2018] a value of 28.00 − 26,00 = 2

Next:
- 29,60 - 28,00 = 1,60
- 32,10 - 29,60 = 2,50
- 33,00 - 32,10 = 0,90
I hope I'm clear.

---

How to do it — I don't know. Probably using VBA just to write something. But suddenly there are standard methods?

PS Or do I need a separate table that will be recorded is the difference, and already on it to build a graph?

---
Tell me. I don't know what you can come up with.

Want, my timid friend.

Add a column with the calculated Delta values, and use for charting.
For years, no need to split. Let the counts are continuously in a single column.
``Month, year Delta Value January, 2018 26,00 - February, 2018 28,00 2,00 March, 2018 1,60 29,60 April, 2018 32,10 2,50 May, 2018 of 33.00 0,90 June, 2018 35,00 2,00 July, 2018 37,00 2,00 August, 2018 38,00 1,00 September, 2018 of 39.26 1,26 October, 2018 40,86 1,60 November, 2018 is 42.12 1,26 December, 2018 42.98 per 0,86 January, 2019 43,80 0,82``
