Suppose I have a static site with the structure:
site: index.html dir: page.html

inside index.html two links:
href="dir/page.html"
href="site.com/dir/page.html"
As I understand it, in the first case, the file search will be performed directly on the server.
and in the second case? will query the server for the specified domain(and therefore download speed will be lower), or the server will understand that this website addressed to himself and perform the same actions as in the first case? Thank you.
