I would like to organize the work of translation of various articles, books, etc. in Linux it is more convenient. Tried plain-text (separate file for each language) is inconvenient. Now overtaken the text in the po format (gettext), became kind of easier, but still not ideal.

Need about the following:
— Two-column interface (left original, right — translation) or a similar organization of space
— Divide the text into paragraphs or sentences (as in poeditor) for easy understanding of what is translated and what is not with the possibility (not mandatory) to celebrate fully and partially translated paragraphs
— The percentage of the translated portion of the document.

Is there any ready tools like this (or at least similar) functionality in linux?

Thank you all for the tips, liked all the same OmegaT. Despite the fact that it is more heavy, it is precisely my desired features (including the import from file OpenOffice).
