In MS SQL SMS 2008 R2 Express to watch the objects of MS SQL Server 2000 is similar to viewing them in QA?

Unfortunately, SMS 2008 R2 Express refuses to show the database objects SQL 2000, citing the lack of rights to sysusers.

The administrator is not eager to give the right to select.

Is it possible to add functionality to the environment SMS 2008 to work with database SQL 2000 in the Object Explorer same as the standard Query Analyzer, included with the 2000 version.

Work under Windows 7, which already causes problems with the installation, QA (now stands at a virtual machine with VB6). But, the main reason for the issue, just more comfortable in the new environment. A nice bonus would be the emergence of auto lookup.

Put a trial version from Red Gate and it worked fine, was to be entirely feasible, but the available software solutions are not found. Application guide made for the purchase of the product, but it is only next year and not the fact that approve.

I would be grateful for answers. Thank you!

A complete solution, unfortunately I do not know, but I want to warn you:
On a bunch of client "MS SQL Server 2008 R2" and the server "MS SQL Server 2000" autocompletion in any case will not work. This requires 2008 and the client and the server.

Solution: change the DBA ;)
Really don't understand why THE admin was so resistant to access the required fields. We all sysusers is not needed! Now it all works.
And, Yes, autocompletion and other buns of IntelliSense expected don't work.
