We need tests for a specific task — because first, different schedulers, and second, different appeal nginx system calls (kqueue etc.) and third, as mentioned earlier — modify system parameters.

Hardly there is any tangible difference. Operating system more familiar and better at what you to tune that and put. It is important to throw extra PHP extensions, just adjust the number of processes php-fpm will decide to work through binding to the port or UNIX sockets, etc.
