Obyanite the difference between memcache and memcached for php?
And I set them for php (php5.6-memcached), but it turned out that I needed to put myself memcached, which is now spinning as a separate process.
I understand that it is individual only, not a library for php and the php extension to work with it?

Yes, that's right:
memcached = private only
php-memcache = a library for php which allows you to work with memcached

exactly the same is arranged to work with mysql:
mysql = private only
php-mysqli = library to work with it
