Experiencing this error on lighttpd at the front ends Ah.
In logs anything sensible.
Usually, this error appears when Uspaskich traffic.

What would you recommend for treatment?

PS the option "move to nginx" is not available. =)

P. P. S.
Here is an example FastCGI config:

fastcgi.server = (
".php" =>
( "localhost" =>
(
"bin-path" => "/usr/bin/php-cgi",
"host" => "127.0.0.1",
"port" => 1025,
"max-procs" => 500
)
)
)

It is possible that when a load more than 500 users per server drops error. What are opinions?

If back-end Apache — suggest apt-get remove apache2.

Anyway, obviously need to localize the error. Need more information.

version of what?

I Frey after the last update of the ports started randomly falling light with vague insults to the module proxy. portdowngrade helped.

I have upgraded to 1.4.28, changed the value of "max-procs" => 2500.
Looking at the statistics...
