I remember a few years ago I read in the magazine "Around the world" about how canadian scientists "invented a fabric that is at minimum density (as I understand it — as thin as ordinary cloth — approx. ed.) provides complete soundproofing".

Now with the development of this product, whether it is possible somewhere to buy it?

Everywhere still use in some form or other mats of porous materials (mineral wool, polyethylene foam) for sound insulation and bitumen or bitumnopolimernye for vibration.
Vibration: betoplast, Vibroplast (the desired thickness and density depends on the resonant frequencies of the surface which must be removed)
Insulation: izolon, SPLEN (the thicker the more effective)
About ciudadan not even heard of.
