Where to start to learn 3d modeling? Where to find theory?

So, I decided to make 3d modeling a hobby, but I do not even know where to start. I remember in school(I'm still in school) we worked on the computers and doing 2d drawings of different parts, as well as 3d bit. All this seemed very interesting to me. Well, now I roughly understand the types of 3d modeling and, as I understand it, the creation of 3d models of parts(gears it all, machine details, mechanism a) refers to CAD(I may not understand it all, then tell us what's what). All I got is a video showing how to build this or that detail, but I would like to start, so to speak, from scratch, to study the theory a bit to roughly imagine what it is(strongly not go deep want). I would also like you to advise me what program to run. I understand to use a Compass for this purpose is not a good idea. And SolidWorks for a beginner approach? Advise, please, sites, channels theory in 3d modeling.

What I want to know:
- create 3d models of different parts, simple and complex
- a bit of theory, the basics of 3d modeling

5c51dbf4819c0014806933.jpegHi. Compass 3D just for this purpose. The program has a training library, by doing that you will be able to master 3D modeling. For development there are programs SolidWorks and AutoCad. Compass our program in Russian, quite clear, you can start studying with her, then solid will be easier to master or something else.
