D-Link DSL-2640U/BRU/C : the work mode of the Ethernet router

Good evening everyone, the question is somewhat non-standard.

Is it possible and how to get D-Link DSL-2640U/BRU/C to work in the bridged Ethernet mode router? Couldn't find it even under the alternative firmware.

Partly the issue arose due to the recent (a month?) the publication on habré, where the ADSL modem is just an Ethernet router and done. However, as I was not looking for, post he could not find it.

Thank you.

Are the owner of this device. Go "Network"- "EtherWAN" and specify the interface that will be WANом.

After flashing on openwrt, you can easily change the VLAN of one of the ethernet ports, thus making it a WAN ohms. So I have a DIR 320 running with burnt wan port.

Actually, with disabled DHCP and enabled DHCP Relay part of the problem was solved — now it's a switch with WLAN.
