Java beginning tutorials, references, articles, community sites?

I read recently "the Complete reference Java SE6. 7-e edition" Silta — I liked it. Everything on the shelves, all clearly. Though I was already pretty good sign I java.
Many more suggest to read "Philosophy of Java" by Bruce Accela, but before her, I never made it.

Turn to the web in Java. The wiki has an article with a full review of all awalnya web frameworks. the comparison table choose, write a little on each and choose the one you like most. Myself suggest Apache Wicket, Stripes, Tapestry and ZK.

Try to use an easy Ruby on Rails like framework for Java — Play Framework (article on Habrahabr). While the course will deal with Java, so it will be interesting.
