Is there any sense to put it Solaris, not any of the Linux distributions...

Anyone have thoughts on this?

Whether for a business meeting, wear a gray suit or blue?
The OS should be selected based on specific tasks. Maybe your startup is generally better suited to Windows?

It makes sense if it meets at least one condition:
1. your developers/system administrator know Solaris better than Linux-a;
2. your product depends on some distinctive features of the Solaris OS, or unique to this operating system software (hard to imagine).

For the sake of interest was raised by one project as on Solaris and Ubuntu. Almost no difference, no time, no stability.
The burglar in Solaris will be higher for a few seconds until the evil hacker will say "Figasse, diesel!" :)

If you have the appropriate admin and you are sure that it will not disappear.
