Welcome.

I choose simple, low-cost, reader screen 6 inch for middle-aged people. The main requirement is that in addition to reading major formats (fb2, etc.) there is a need to read scanned books in the djvu format. It is clear that you can convert to pdf, but essentially it does not change.

On the e-readers that I enjoyed (the b&n nook, amazon kindle), it is impossible to comfortably read scanned djvu\\pdf or the font is too small, or flipping uncomfortable with the scale of the problem.

In addition, it is very desirable Russian interface, because of the old school, and English friendly so far as.

Most likely will fit any "Russian" or "Ukrainian" reader, because they are focused on such formats.

Would really appreciate advice from actual users of such newsreaders

OBNW. As I understand it, theoretically, software can be properly massturbate pdf, relative to the center of the text, and show half a page. If it's somewhere implemented then it would be great to know where.

I think only the Kindle DX. And not the fact that it is convenient. Not designed while reader for DJVU and technical literature.

For rendering djvu and pdf require a CPU more powerful than the eink reader — otherwise the page will change well, very slowly. And display at least 10 inches. Even on the iPad it's not comfortable to read — but you can, if you really need. The readers just scratching their eyes.

6" for pdf/djvu not roll. Very uncomfortable scaling, the page is divided into 4 parts, while you read!
Therefore, the Kindle DX — PDF-s — like family (actually true), everything is fine and great.
Or to think about not e-ink-Ah, the same iPad...
