A new decline Habra?

The almost complete lack of explanatory technical articles, the posts from the sandbox errors in the headers, zaplakannye pseudo-comments, non-thematic positions, the crowd "news" articles — no, this never happened before. Maybe I'm wrong, and there is no decline here, but now, going on Habr, rarely find something really useful/entertaining. Look at the article at the moment, the best 24 hours, best for the week. Unless there is something ina fit (lie, something is), valuable? I have already expressed the opinion that UFO sees everything (on it and UFO), and for good reason eviscerates the sandbox.

Frankly, I don't know exactly where the problem is. Maybe it's a "cyclic" decline. Maybe blame the time of year — and just a lack of free time (version looks quite plausible, given the fact that the same stagnation was observed shortly before the beginning of 2011). Meanwhile, the functionality of the website expands, and rewards authors will not go away (but the fruit, so I understand, is not given); however, the extinction is occasionally recorded and the population.

What can you suggest in this situation?

The problem is not the karma, not the time of year, not a UFO.
The problem karosaite it numbly... Yes, Yes, numbly.

With Habra has left hundreds of good authors. Reason: "my articles there is no love", "I'm tired of pouring shit", "leaked karma, so my articles do not need them", etc.
\r
But the reason these words are more interesting:
Habr 90% (and maybe more) consists of badlocation with high self-esteem. They were given some power in the form of anonymity and karma. And they use this power — "crush" all who are smarter than they are.

Good authors don't want to write articles for a society that does not understand them.

Here's my opinion:
1. Should change the award system invites and rewards. For example, invite in "information security" over +100 "DIY" for +50, "Habra Humor" +300 etc, the same for the promotion of authors. That is, to weigh the blogs useful to the community.
2. Still you can weigh the voices. People choose 5 blogs that he believes can adequately assess or wants to assess: A, b, C, D, E — the voice over topics in these subjects is considered in 1, 5 where vote counts for 0.5, 0.25 in the other. For example, the blog "server optimization" I'm not adequately able to assess the topic. Why my voice is worth as much as the voice of the expert? Here my voice is 0.25. A "Contextual advertising" is quite adequately able to assess my voice 1.

No motivation, that's it.
The authors really sensible articles that spend their time just getting hurt when the neighboring topic of Harumi and gaining 5-10 times more advantages. Was as always, eager for bread and circuses, less bread, more circuses.
And yet, it is now clearly pokercheats separation of users if it used to be more Admins, Engineers, networkers, now more programmers — not the same contingent, they are writers, but not articles, and programs (and that is questionable), most of them. If you notice a good article on programming gets a large number of votes, but sensible article on administration servers or networks do not reach as many. Something like this.

This is just my personal opinion. I do not insist on anything.

When you try to write a technical article about the creation of websites in PHP, (which is about the creation, release specifically to stress about that), there will be comrades who will say that everything has already been written, and this router (class, template) is not needed, because there are Yii and will grovel about the professionalism of its creators and the senselessness of bikes. This greatly stops a whole series of possible articles. Of course, all the better to read about how a new website where you can map out another crap.

With Habra left a rather big part of experts that have been here since the beginning. Habr for a couple of years... I will Not say "no cake". He's just a little different — more pop, less technical, more water and "SHOCK!" of information.

About plum technical articles — and is, for example not far to seek. My topics:

\rhabrahabr.ru/blogs/startup/133185/ — Pro startup +171
\rhabrahabr.ru/blogs/startup/128906/ — Pro startup +153
\rhabrahabr.ru/blogs/startup/125973/ — Pro startup +156
\rhabrahabr.ru/blogs/apple/111069/ — Funny news, +118
\rhabrahabr.ru/blogs/sysadm/111473/ — Funny news, +103
\r
\rhabrahabr.ru/blogs/hosting/91429/ Technical article about system administration, +57

In my opinion, it is quite clear what articles more in demand. I'm not talking about whether it is good or bad, but on habré already long enough. Often when got the idea to write something technical, I think "and what, may main will not come out well even if you don't merge".

Personally I've stopped going on Habr because the number of articles on interesting topics I declined five times. Already half a year I go on Habr twice a week and quickly glance over depressing crap articles about start-UPS and releases, nobody needs programs. Habr dull now, well, I would hope that all the same something will change.

Write an article, do not expect from others.
