Hi all. Stood winxp + phpstorm — eyes got used to the font. Turn on ubuntu, put phpstorm, but the fonts are not the same. Probably will have to get used again. Which font is better to use and not to lose to then your eyes do not get tired? In winxp was monospace, in ubuntu it is different.

FreeMono similar to Courier, which apparently you were in Windows. Best under Ubuntu looks DejaVu Sans Mono (monospaced and in General the sans serif is easier to see code than serif). But that's me personally of course. There are still options in the form of a Terminus or Consolas (you need to take from Windows Vista/7 or Office 2007-2010).

try
apt-get install console-terminus
Then system->settings->appearance->fonts as monospaced Terminus place and don't forget to include a nice looking size.
