Hello, dear.

Faced with the problem of the connection MFP HP Deskjet F4580. Actually googled long and hard, but couldn't figure anything out. An hour and a half able the cable connect, but it is certainly not the answer. Bought only because of the work remotely.

Maybe I haven't found anything useful because I use Ubuntu all of a month and a half.

Would be very grateful for your instructions. (Chew please for Housewives in this issue).

Sorry, I'm inexperienced in this matter.

So. I have a laptop Asus N71J, installed on it Ubuntu 10.10, hanging in the room the modem is connected to Wi-Fi access point. It all works fine if you just need the Internet. But you need to connect the printer.

Googled. Wrote about Cups. Installed, tried to configure, no prints and all. Using standard tools tinkering, but also.

I'm a little do not understand the scheme and what to do. For example I don't understand how the printer ask to what point to connect and what password. Because it is in range of 8 different points.

Do not understand how and what. :(
