Hi all

I really want to learn programming for the web, writing your own scripts to modify the engines. Honestly, by profession I am away from the computer, but a computer, basically, "you" are addicted to css layout and design. Really do not have enough knowledge to program their own modifications.

A couple of times trying to read books on PHP, but every time I come across moments, which because of its dullness was killing my desire to continue. Maybe mind not one?!

Is php, I also know programming in perl-e, what other languages you can try to learn for web programming? How hard can it be? Do you need knowledge of MySQL? Or better cost to start with Javascript? I just don't know where to start... it does not take that much information is lost, dazzled and discouraged... Programming want to learn just for myself.

Objective: programming web scripts, create effects (as I understand it, frameworks for the development of type jQuery, you need the knowledge of JS?)

Just saying that PHP is the easiest to learn...)

We can advise you to make a goal to do a certain project, for example using PHP and Jquery and in the course of development will be familiar with the right things. And teach just seems boring.

You need to understand that it is possible (roughly, there are nuances) to divide languages into the languages server-side web programming (same php, another popular python, ruby, java, c#, any language "General purpose" in principle, at least the assembler) and client (the most popular, almost monopoly — Javascript). If you need interaction between the site visitors (including visits by a single user using different computers/browsers), it is necessary first of all to learn a server-side language and, as a rule, database. Client — side Javascript when it is implemented server-side logic (the app will do what you need) and start thinking about the UI (so it did convenient and/or beautiful). If you want to basically make a local application launched from the browser, something about a server-side language can not think.

I took the thesis specifically with a web Ohm. While wrote, understood what was happening. Then 1 web project, though never completed it to the end(not paid). Now here's the second going to do...

Try, can succeed. Ruby too, the language is very simple.
