I have a server with 8 cores, centos on Board with the kernel under xen.
Running the dev with a configuration file containing

cpus="0-7"
vcpus=8

wdsci idle at 1-2%, on a live server 99%. Sites, respectively, open for a long time.
What could be wrong?

# xm sched-credit-d vds
{'cap': 0, 'weight': 256}

vds on the server only.

You need to consider that if the guest is not worth the normal driver (and guest HVM), the emulation of his iron takes a lot of CPU time. Moreover, in the dom0, not in domU. Look closely at xentop.

Pay attention to the side load on the disk, most likely the problem.

Set cpu_cap for vds
\r
cpu_cap: Set the maximum amount of cpu. CAP is a percentage that fixes the maximum amount of cpu
