Hello, have set themselves Ubuntu, configured the Internet using pppoeconf, it worked fine but after some time, the Internet was performing badly(the page in the browser open for 3 to 5 minutes, if at all open). Searched through the Internet, treatment is not found. Problem first noticed on 10.04, upgraded to 10.10 — nothing has changed. If someone had something like write decided, well, sympathize with or just below ;)

In a nutshell:
1. put /etc/ppp/options mtu=150 (min 128)
2. create the startup command sudo pon dsl-provider.
3. after a reboot everything works ;)

in the direction of the MTU to delve. there already was something like that, some providers suggest to reduce much lower than the proposed pppoeconf
