Lord, tell me in choosing a cms. There is a small number of author — 5-10 people who want to write a small number of Wikipedia "for the history", i.e. to share their own experiences, a large number of users are also not expected to stop your eyes? WordPress seems to me a little inconvenient for a collective blog, and LiveStreet too "large", are there any intermediate versions? or is it for these purposes, you can safely use WordPress?

I think that WordPress in this case, the best choice. Just look at InspireMe or Smashing Magazine. Much much more authors, and all is functioning fine.
