Are there any existing solutions for streaming video through torrents? Something like www.bitlet.orgonly working (there it is in test mode and, to put it mildly, not working) working without using the java virtual machine.

Or at least info on how to implement such a thing.

In beta µTorrent about a year ago added support for streaming, with sufficient download and upload speed: torrentfreak.com/utorrent-adds-video-streaming-support-091217/. However, in stable 2.0.4 this option I can not find, will definitely be in 3.0 ( forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=63247 ).

After beta µTorrent, about which wrote above, functionality is migrated to the project "Falcon". On the popular distributions, as well as in private trackers with rating (where a lot of quality peers) works well, although the alpha version.
